Players have been training and playing with Beeston Centurions for several years, with some players starting when they were four. We decided to follow the FA Football Development Programme's advice and wait until we reached U9 before entering the League. The squad has trained with its partner squad, U9s Black, in order to develop two equal squads of players. We have played many friendlies with local teams over the past two years and entered tournaments, including those of Toton FC, Toton Tigers, Priory Celtic and Cotgrave.
The 2006/07 Season (04/11/07)
A steep learning curve for everyone. Players, coaches, manager and parents.
Hard work in training and a strong will to win in football matches resulted in promotion to League 2 in the first season.
A great first season which shows great promise for the future.
